Monitoring
Upon receipt of an alarm from the Comtech NOC management console, an email will be delivered to the NOC IT manager and internal IT personnel. After assessing the alarm and the conditions of the devices in the network an email will be delivered to the end user detailing the condition of the alarm, probable issue with the system and/or device, estimation of response time and repair costs. From this information the end user can approve and determine the next course of action. Device alarming conditions will be determined from a customer consultation and the device thresholds will then be set.
Management
Upon receipt of an alarm from the Comtech NOC management console, en email and an SMS message will be delivered to the internal IT person on call, NOC IT manager and other internal IT personnel. Immediate remote attention will be given to the system situation and its devices in order to determine the course of action. Technicians will be deployed from the nearest Comtech location to repair the system and its devices. An email will be sent to the end user indicating the ocurence of the alarm, status of the condition, response time of the technical team and estimated time of repair. There will be a guaranteed field response time associated with any fully managed devices, this time is dependant on the system location. All travel, per diem, lodging and labor fees are covered within the fees of the managed system.
Quarterly reporting for system and device performance can be generated for the customer if the information is desired.
